Community Mourns Recent Losses With Upcoming Memorial Services

Farewell To A Community Member
On June 24, a prominent member of the Fairmont community, aged 74, passed away in Princeton, drawing condolences from family and friends alike. The beloved individual was remembered for his connection to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where a Catholic Funeral Liturgy is scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 30. Friends and family are invited to gather one hour prior at the church located on Maryland Avenue, following which burial will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Honoring A Lifelong Resident
Another notable loss for the community occurred on April 27, when an 85-year-old resident from Bluefield, VA, passed away. A service to honor the individual will take place at 11:30 a.m. on June 28 at Christ Episcopal Church, situated in Bluefield, WV. The interment will follow in the church’s columbarium, with a reception planned for attendees in Rowley Hall thereafter.
Celebrating Life And Community Connections
In a separate instance, the Fairmont area mourns the death of another 85-year-old from Rock, WV, who passed on June 25. A memorial service is organized for June 28 at 11:30 a.m. at Affordable Funerals and Cremations of Davidson County, to be preceded by visitation at 10:30 a.m. The final resting place will be the old Believers Sonship Tabernacle Church Cemetery located in Mocksville, NC.
