Larijani clarified that Iran is restricted from pursuing nuclear weapons due to a religious edict from Khamenei. Nonetheless, he indicated, “If the United States makes any mistake, Iran will be forced to pursue nuclear weapons due to pressure from its people.” He emphasized that military actions against Iran would not be effective in dismantling its nuclear program, highlighting the far-reaching consequences of such actions.
