Turkmenistan and IFRC Discuss Collaborative Humanitarian Efforts

Turkmenistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova and IFRC Regional Director Birgitte Bischoff Ebbesen met to discuss collaboration, emphasizing legal improvements in line with international humanitarian standards, and promoting participation in humanitarian initiatives for the International Year of Peace and Trust.

On March 12, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova, held a meeting with Birgitte Bischoff Ebbesen, the Regional Director for Europe of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported on the constructive dialogue between the two parties.
