Iran’s UN Envoy Calls for International Support for Afghan Migrants

Iran’s UN envoy Amir Saeid Iravani reaffirmed the country’s commitment to Afghan migrants during a UN Security Council briefing. Iran and Pakistan need sustained and meaningful assistance.” Iravani also called for the unfreezing of Afghanistan’s assets and for establishing responsible mechanisms to rejuvenate the Afghan economy.
