Akufo-Addo Calls for Unity in Honoring Dr. J.B. Danquah’s Legacy

In response to the derogatory remarks, Mr. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the Minority Leader, condemned the disrespectful references made in Parliament. He also denounced attacks on public figures such as the former Minister of Finance Ken Ofori-Atta and called for a commitment to reject hate speech in favor of national unity.

Afenyo-Markin highlighted that Dr. Danquah and his contemporaries have suffered enduring smear campaigns, despite their valuable contributions to public service.
