The processing plant’s components were delivered aboard the cargo vessel Irene’s Wisdom on March 7, 2025, comprising 141 containers and 10 bulk items. Departing from the Port of Durban, South Africa on February 2, 2025, the facility was fully financed by Atlas Lithium following meticulous planning. Additional spare parts are expected to arrive in due course.

The processing plant features innovative design elements and sustainable technologies that enhance lithium processing efficiency. Its compact, modular design allows for streamlined transportation and installation. Furthermore, the facility incorporates advanced water conservation methods, utilizing internal recycling systems to reduce consumption compared to traditional plants.

Atlas Lithium’s flagship operation, the Neves Project, received its operational permit from Minas Gerais in October 2024, with potential to yield up to 150,000 tonnes per annum of battery-grade spodumene concentrate, a vital component for lithium-ion batteries. This project benefits from Brazil’s Lithium Valley advantages, promising lower production costs relative to competitors from Australia and other regions.

As the largest publicly listed lithium exploration entity in Brazil, Atlas Lithium is advancing its wholly owned Neves Project, which encompasses approximately 539 square kilometers of lithium mineral rights. The company also possesses a 32.2% ownership interest in Atlas Critical Minerals Corporation, further solidifying its position in the industry.
