OIC Condemns Zionist Aggression Against Palestinians

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Foreign Ministers condemned Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, calling for peace based on the withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied territories. They emphasized the need for a ceasefire in Gaza, the return of displaced persons, and the rejection of displacement and illegal settlements.

On Saturday, the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) convened to address the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people. This extraordinary session called for adherence to a just and enduring peace in the Middle East, emphasizing the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from territories occupied since 1967, thereby allowing the Palestinian populace to reclaim their legitimate rights.

The OIC stressed the urgent need for the full implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza, facilitating the return of displaced individuals to their homes. The Council called for the reopening of all border crossings and the delivery of humanitarian aid to ensure every area in Gaza receives assistance.

Moreover, the OIC firmly condemned any plans aimed at the displacement of Palestinians and denounced policies resulting in starvation and destruction. It highlighted the necessity to confront these actions vigorously and urged an end to illegal annexation, settlement activities, home demolitions, land appropriation, and military incursions into Palestinian territories, especially in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
