UN Climate Chief Simon Stiell to Discuss Climate Action in Nigeria

During his stay in Abuja on March 4th and 5th, Mr. Stiell will meet with key government figures and civil society representatives to discuss Nigeria’s climate initiatives. On March 6th, he will address a symposium titled “Intersecting Worlds of Climate Change, Mangrove, and Art” at the Lekki Conservation Centre in Lagos. Mr. Stiell’s address will stress that Nigeria’s economy stands to benefit significantly from a proactive climate plan, which is crucial for the country’s development.
