A delegation of senior Malaysian defense officials, led by Defense Minister Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, visited the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle on March 2. They were received by Ambassador Axel Cruau, Rear Admiral Jacques Mallard, and Captain Georges-Antoine Florentin on board. The visit coincided with a joint air combat exercise between the carrier’s air wing and the Royal Malaysian Air Force, showcasing international military cooperation.

During the visit, Dato’ Seri Mohamed was briefed on the capabilities of the Charles de Gaulle by Rear Admiral Mallard.
