Türkiye Urges Ceasefire Amid Intensifying Conflict in Sudan

Türkiye has called for a ceasefire in the escalating conflict in Sudan, expressing deep concern over the humanitarian crisis. The Turkish Foreign Ministry emphasized the importance of maintaining Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity. With over 20,000 deaths reported and millions facing famine, Türkiye stands ready to support the resolution of the conflict and restore peace.

The World Food Program has indicated that two million people across 27 locations in Sudan are either facing famine or are on the brink of it.
