North Arrow Minerals Provides Update on Kraaipan Gold Project Exploration

The Remote Mapper UAV system has successfully collected over 21,000 line kilometers of magnetic data with 25-meter line spacing. Previously identified Banded Iron Formation (BIF) outcrops, known for sporadic historical gold finds, are currently under structural mapping that correlates these formations with the newly gathered Remote Mapper data. This analysis intends to bolster the reliability of prioritized targets concealed beneath Kalahari cover.

The anticipated three-month RC drilling program will begin in May, focusing on geochemical sampling from the Kalahari overburden and underlying bedrock. The streamlined RC drilling platform aims to maximize efficiency, enabling the completion of 3 to 5 holes per day. The program’s objective is to unearth new zones of gold mineralization for follow-up drilling in the later part of 2025.

The Kraaipan Gold Project encompasses three mineral concessions along a 60 km stretch of the Kraaipan Greenstone Belt, which is recognized for its mineral potential, partly demonstrated by Harmony Gold’s Kalgold mine. While past exploration efforts in Botswana faced challenges due to extensive Kalahari overburden, North Arrow is leveraging innovative exploration strategies with a capable local partner, Rockman Resources, to investigate potential mineral deposits beneath the cover efficiently.

North Arrow seeks to earn a 60% interest in the Kraaipan project through an investment of US$5 million by June 30, 2027, including a commitment of US$1 million by June 30, 2025. The company’s exploration initiatives are directed by Kenneth Armstrong, P.Geo., who brings considerable expertise to their operations in Botswana and beyond.
