He stated during a news conference, that while India promotes a narrative steeped in lies and propaganda, Pakistan advocates for truth and peace. Bilawal also highlighted India’s use of terrorism as a foreign policy strategy, specifically mentioning the targeting of Sikh activists globally.

Bilawal remarked that Trump’s attempts to mediate between Pakistan and India were sincere, but expressed disappointment that the Indian government appeared to be hindering these initiatives. This statement came in the wake of a recent affirmation from the U.S. State Department about Trump’s willingness to mediate over Kashmir during his presidency. “Pakistan has always sought peace through dialogue and diplomacy,” he emphasized, underscoring the need for peaceful resolutions to longstanding issues, particularly the disputes over Jammu and Kashmir.

He called for the international community to recognize that enduring peace between the two nations is vital. Bilawal asserted that India had continuously failed to provide reliable evidence to back its claims of terrorism against Pakistan, saying, “Despite our continuous demands, India has not been able to prove any of its claims.” He further asserted that Pakistan has no links to terrorism, and India’s attempts to portray it otherwise would ultimately be unsuccessful.

In touching upon broader disputes, Bilawal stated that Pakistan was committed to resolving issues like Kashmir and water distribution through dialogue. He noted: “Even President Trump acknowledged that dialogue on Kashmir is essential. If the U.S. must push India to the negotiating table, it should, because peace is in the world’s best interest.”

Additionally, he condemned India’s alleged campaign to target Sikh communities abroad and emphasized that India needed to cease its support for terrorism outside its borders. Furthermore, Bilawal cautioned that any threats from India to restrict Pakistan’s water supplies constituted a breach of the United Nations Charter.

Reflecting on Pakistan’s recent security accomplishments, he maintained: “The recent conflict has shown that even as a smaller nation, Pakistan has the strength to defend itself on all fronts.”
