Their mission was to present India’s position on cross-border terrorism and to discuss Operation Sindoor. Announced on May 17, they included representatives from various political backgrounds, including both National Democratic Alliance leaders and members of the Opposition. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who headed a delegation to multiple countries in South America, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the nation, showcasing a bipartisan spirit.

He emphasized, “We apprised the Prime Minister of the overwhelming support extended by these friendly nations for India’s resolute fight against terrorism.”

Delegates shared insights with Modi on how his personal connections with world leaders, especially in Saudi Arabia, played a role in garnering positive international responses regarding India’s operations.
