ISLAMABAD, May 02 (APP) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif convened a meeting with Nasser Abdulrahman Jasser, the Ambassador of Kuwait, to discuss significant developments in South Asia following the Pahalgam incident. The meeting took place at PM House, where the Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s perspective on the recent escalations in the region.
During this meeting, Prime Minister Sharif extended his best wishes to Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait. He highlighted the enduring friendship and historic ties between Kuwait and Pakistan, emphasizing how the two nations have supported one another through various challenges.
The Prime Minister expressed eagerness for an upcoming visit by Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait. His anticipation reflects a desire to strengthen ties further, with the acknowledgment that both nations share mutual interests and goals.
