Strengthening Strategic Collaboration: UAE and Pakistan Discuss Key Areas of Cooperation

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in talks with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to enhance bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.

The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Asim Munir, and considered advancements since the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi’s visit in February. The leaders expressed mutual commitment to fostering growth in trade, investment, and development.

Sheikh Abdullah highlighted his pride in visiting Pakistan and reinforced the dedication of both nations to pursue partnership for mutual prosperity. Additionally, he conferred with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar.

During these discussions, an agreement was signed to enhance cultural ties alongside two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). These included the establishment of a UAE-Pakistan Joint Business Council and a Joint Consular Affairs Committee, signifying intent to deepen collaboration and engagement between the two countries.
