Oshakati Country Lodge and Burning Shore Hotel in Namibia have upgraded to Hotelogix’s Cloud Property Management System to modernize their operations. Managed by United African Hospitality, the transition aims at improving efficiency and maintaining business continuity, supported by 24/7 assistance from Hotelogix.
Oshakati Country Lodge and Burning Shore Hotel in Namibia have upgraded to Hotelogix’s Hotel Property Management System (PMS) as part of their operational modernization efforts. This decision came after moving from a well-established on-premises solution, aiming to improve their operational efficiency through a cloud-based platform. Both hotels are under the management of United African Hospitality (Pty) Ltd, a prominent privately-owned entity in Namibia’s hospitality and gaming sector.
Quintin Byloo, Cluster General Manager of PHN & UAH, emphasized the need for a solution that could eliminate operational silos and provide real-time control. He remarked, “Hotelogix Cloud PMS stood out with its comprehensive automation, ease of use, and scalability. This upgrade sets us up for long-term success in an increasingly competitive landscape.”
The transition process was smooth, with Hotelogix ensuring no downtime and providing extensive training and 24/7 support. This careful execution allowed for a seamless go-live experience, maintaining business continuity for both properties.
