Strengthening Defence Cooperation: Netherlands and Kenya Sign Agreement

Mr. Ruben Brekelmans visited NDU-K to sign a Letter of Intent for strengthening cooperation with the NLDA. Mr. Ruben Brekelmans, the Minister for Defence of the Royal Kingdom of the Netherlands, recently visited the National Defence University – Kenya (NDU-K) located in Lanet, Nakuru. The purpose of his visit was to officially sign a Letter of Intent that seeks to enhance the cooperation between NDU-K and the Netherlands Defence Academy (NLDA).

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Brekelmans praised the leadership of the Kenya Defence Forces and NDU-K for their efforts in establishing the institution as a recognized provider of quality education and research that benefits both national and global interests. He expressed optimism that the collaboration between NDU-K and NLDA would foster sustainable national development, improve climate security, and ensure effective responses to emerging security threats.
