On Thursday, the publicly-owned electricity company, EDM, successfully recovered approximately 12 tonnes of stolen copper and 80 radiators in Matola, located in southern Mozambique. Meque Licenga, the EDM Electrical Infrastructure supervisor, indicated that the stolen materials, taken from various company facilities, have hampered electricity supply to numerous residents, causing unspecified financial damages to the utility company.
