The Tobago Chamber of Industry & Commerce has encouraged Prime Minister Stuart Young to establish a productive relationship with the Tobago House of Assembly (THA). Young assumed office as Trinidad and Tobago’s eighth Prime Minister on March 17, following a swearing-in ceremony that included the induction of 27 ministers upon the resignation of former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, who left after a distinguished 45-year career in public service.
Curtis Williams, president of the Tobago Chamber, expressed his hope that Prime Minister Young would lead with integrity and foster national unity. He emphasized the importance of a robust collaboration between Young’s administration and the THA to address Tobago’s distinct needs, ensuring that the island’s development keeps pace with Trinidad’s progress.
