Saudi Arabia Calls for International Action Against Israeli Aggression in Gaza

The Saudi Council of Ministers, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, condemned the renewed Israeli aggression in Gaza and called for urgent international intervention. The Cabinet also discussed various developments, including peace agreements between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the launch of the Saudi Architecture Characters Map. On Tuesday, the Saudi Council of Ministers condemned the renewed Israeli aggression in Gaza under the chairmanship of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Following the session, Media Minister Salman Al-Dossary declared that the Cabinet urges the international community to act swiftly to halt these violations and address the ongoing humanitarian crisis affecting the Palestinian people.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince provided updates on dialogues with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The Cabinet also deliberated on developments affecting regional and global stability and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to these matters along with its support for initiatives that enhance security.

The Cabinet welcomed recent peace agreements between Azerbaijan and Armenia and recognized the signing of a border demarcation agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, wishing both nations continual prosperity.

Domestically, the Council praised the initiation of the Saudi Architecture Characters Map, which aims to celebrate and preserve the Kingdom’s diverse architectural heritage and improve urban landscapes while enhancing the overall quality of life.

Furthermore, the Cabinet discussed development strategies to promote social welfare, review economic indicators, and noted improvements in the Kingdom’s credit ratings by international agencies. They emphasized the importance of ongoing structural reforms to facilitate economic transformation in accordance with Vision 2030.

Al-Dossary reported on the Cabinet’s acknowledgment of successful security operations against drug smuggling networks in collaboration with allied nations, particularly praising the Iraqi Interior Ministry for thwarting the smuggling of 7 million amphetamine pills.

The Cabinet authorized the Minister of the Interior to negotiate a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Egypt regarding scientific research and training. Additionally, they approved various MoUs and agreements with multiple nations to enhance cultural, economic, and air transport cooperation.

The Saudi Cabinet’s recent discussions highlighted critical international issues, including the urgent need to address Israeli aggression in Gaza and the encouragement of peace initiatives in other regions.
