Baerbock emphasized the necessity of an inclusive political process, asserting, “As Europeans, we stand together for the Syrian people, for a free and peaceful Syria.” Furthermore, she urged the transitional government in Syria to conduct investigations into the killings of civilians in Alawite-majority villages and ensure accountability for the perpetrators.
