CazeTV Partners with DAZN for Broadcasting Rights to 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in Brazil

CazeTV has secured the rights to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup through a sublicensing deal with DAZN. The platform will air at least 39 matches live across various streaming services. Brazilian teams participating include Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, and Palmeiras. Extensive social media coverage will accompany the broadcasts. DAZN’s recent global rights acquisition positions it favorably in the market.

CazeTV, a Brazilian sports streaming platform, has acquired the rights to broadcast the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup (CWC) through a sublicensing arrangement with DAZN. The agreement, which was announced via CazeTV’s social media, includes airing at least 39 of the 63 live matches, particularly those featuring Brazilian clubs, along with the semi-finals and the final.

The matches will be available on CazeTV’s YouTube channels and other integrated platforms such as Samsung TV Plus, Mercado Play, and Amazon Prime Video within Brazil. Four Brazilian teams—Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, and Palmeiras—are set to compete in the tournament.

CazeTV will also offer extensive coverage on social media, supported by teams in Brazil and the United States that will generate behind-the-scenes content and match highlights. Fabio Medeiros, head of content at CazeTV, expressed excitement, stating that the tournament aligns with the platform’s mission to connect deeply with its audience.

This agreement enhances CazeTV’s ongoing partnership with FIFA, having previously secured rights to major tournaments such as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the upcoming UEFA Women’s European Championship. The sublicensing deal follows DAZN’s acquisition of exclusive global rights for the CWC, estimated at around $1 billion, as DAZN seeks to recoup investment through key market sublicensing arrangements.

DAZN’s chief executive, Shay Segev, emphasized the platform’s commitment to delivering an engaging experience for fans in Brazil, which reflects the growing interest in soccer despite previous challenges in securing broadcast partnerships. The CWC is scheduled to begin on June 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, featuring 32 teams over 63 matches in a new format.

The revised CWC will include multiple teams from various continental governing bodies, with South America’s Conmebol having six slots, including four Brazilian teams and two Argentine teams, River Plate and Boca Juniors. Europe’s UEFA represents the highest number with twelve teams participating in the tournament.

The collaboration between CazeTV and DAZN for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup signifies a major advancement in Brazilian sports broadcasting. By showcasing numerous matches and comprehensive coverage, this agreement aligns with both organizations’ ambitions to enhance fan engagement and experience. As the tournament approaches, CazeTV’s capacity to bring exclusive content to Brazilian viewers will likely contribute to a more vibrant soccer culture in the region.
