XCMG Brazil has unveiled the first 100% electric water truck, designed for high efficiency and safety with two models available: 25,000 and 50,000 liters. The trucks, targeting various industries, feature advanced technology, including a 1,000 liters per minute pump and robust electronic control systems.

XCMG Brazil has introduced the first 100% electric water truck, designed to adhere to rigorous standards of efficiency and operational safety. The launch featured two models, offering volumetric capacities of 25,000 and 50,000 liters, the latter designated as ‘Titan.’ This event was conducted in collaboration with Impacto Implementos e Máquinas in Jaú, São Paulo, a company with a history of providing equipment since 2004.

These electric water trucks are engineered for various applications such as water transportation, dust control, soil moistening, compaction, and fire control. As stated by Ricardo Senda, Electric Manager, the vehicles are versatile for use in the sugar and alcohol industries, agriculture, mining, construction, forestry, and sanitation sectors. They are built on the XDR80TE and E7-29R truck platforms to function as both on-road and off-road machinery.

Key technological features include a centrifugal pump offering a flow rate of 1,000 liters per minute, joystick control with a range of up to 50 meters, and an innovative electronic system for electropneumatic actuation of spreaders. Additional features comprise transverse and longitudinal wave breakers for enhanced stability, a rear spreader specifically for dust and soil control, and side options for effective fire management.

The introduction of XCMG’s 100% electric water trucks marks a significant advancement in environmentally-friendly mining and construction equipment. With their innovative design and capabilities tailored for multiple industries, these trucks are positioned to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
