The President emphasized that the Iranian leadership would be accountable for any attacks made by the Houthis, whom they have historically supported.

This warning was prompted by recent Houthi attacks on a US aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, coinciding with US airstrikes in Yemen that reportedly resulted in civilian casualties. Trump proclaimed via his Truth Social platform that, “Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN.”

Amidst escalating tensions, the Pentagon confirmed it has launched airstrikes targeting extensive areas in Yemen, including facilities related to Houthi drone manufacturing.
