Sequence Records Launches in Morocco with First EP Release
Sequence Records, a new record label based in Rabat, Morocco, will launch on March 28, 2025, with its first release, a split EP titled “Cyber Alien Communication” from HearThuG and Adam Dirk’heim. The label is a project of the local events collective Sqnc and aims to support the electronic music scene in Morocco.
Sequence Records, a new electronic music label based in Rabat, Morocco, is set to make its debut with a joint EP by HearThuG and Adam Dirk’heim on March 28, 2025. The label is an initiative from the events collective, Sqnc, which has been showcasing renowned artists like Rhadoo, Raresh, tINI, and Vlada since its establishment in 2018. Recently, Sqnc collaborated with other Moroccan collectives to form ECHO7000, a new umbrella organization.
The inaugural release titled “Cyber Alien Communication” is a split EP featuring Tunisian artist HearThuG and the label founder Cybercafé, known as Adam Dirk’heim. The duo began their collaboration in 2022 and are excited to present their work, which will be distributed by KMA60.
The tracklist for “Cyber Alien Communication” includes four pieces:
1. Beep Blump Beep (Sex Mix) – HearThuG
2. Moonrush (Original Mix) – HearThuG
3. Hyperdrive – Cybercafé
