UAE President Commends “UAE Stands with Lebanon” Humanitarian Campaign

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked the organizers of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign during a reception in Abu Dhabi. The campaign raised nearly AED 190 million and collected 6,000 tonnes of relief materials, affirming the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian aid.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, held a reception at Qasr Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi to meet with organizers of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. He expressed gratitude for their prompt efforts in supporting the Lebanese populace amid escalating violence.

Launched in October 2024, the campaign concluded in January and successfully raised nearly AED 190 million. It also gathered 6,000 tonnes of relief materials, transported via 22 aircraft and two ships. Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the UAE’s dedication to assisting those in need globally.
