Argentina’s cement production rose by 9% in February 2025, reaching 0.74 Mt. Exports increased by 64% to 8,855 tons with domestic consumption up by 8% to 0.73 Mt. Imports fell sharply, declining by 76%.
In February 2025, Argentina’s cement production reached 0.74 million tons (Mt), representing a 9% increase from 0.68 Mt in February 2024, as reported by the Asociación de Fabricantes de Cemento Portland. Notably, the volume of exports increased significantly, totaling 8,855 tons, which is a marked rise of 64% compared to the previous year’s volume of 5,384 tons.
The cement industry in Argentina experienced a positive trend in February 2025, with production and domestic consumption both increasing. Exports observed a substantial rise, while imports declined significantly.
