Mozambique Government to Enact National Development Strategy ENDE 2025-2044

The cabinet also reviewed its performance based on indicators set for the first 100 days of governance, noting that out of 96 indicators, 68 exceeded a 50% achievement rate, while 18 ranged between 25% and 49%, and 10 fell below 24%.

The plan also seeks to establish economic and social stability while addressing unrest stemming from post-election conflicts involving supporters of the losing presidential candidate, Venâncio Mondlane. Impissa highlighted the importance of creating conditions for normal life and fostering ongoing political dialogue to achieve stabilization. He stated, “The destabilization of the country has been caused by people, so these same people have to be brought to the table to talk… towards the pacification and stabilization of the country so that we can all see in Mozambique a hope for everyone.”
