GANHRI Urges Global Cooperation and Application of International Law

Al Attiyah acknowledged progress in promoting women’s and girls’ rights, but she cautioned that significant work remains to ensure equal rights for all and to prevent the erosion of previously gained rights. “The most worrying development is that hard-won gains in women’s rights are under attack in a variety of areas,” she indicated.
