The slowdown in price increases was particularly notable in several categories, including food and non-alcoholic beverages which rose by 1.75%, compared to a 1.87% increase in January, alcoholic beverages that experienced a 1.91% rise versus 2.02% the previous month, as well as miscellaneous goods and services with a 1.67% increase down from 1.84%.
