John Ssenyonga, the deceased, was identified as a 30-year-old long-time Arsenal fan. Another individual, Lawrence Mugejera, was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Both the security guard and the restaurant manager are currently evading authorities as police investigate the incident.

Local police chief Twaha Kasirye confirmed that the authorities found the weapon used in the shooting at the scene. He condemned the violence and urged anyone with information to assist the police in apprehending the suspect. He also emphasized the importance of fans managing their celebrations.
