2025 Nigeria Mining Week Announced by Miners Association of Nigeria

The Miners Association of Nigeria is set to host the 2025 Nigeria Mining Week from October 13-15, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel. The event aims to discuss the role of mineral resources in economic growth and celebrate ten years since the inception of the Mining Week. Leading figures from MAN, PwC, and VUKA Group have expressed excitement about the upcoming event and its significance for the mining sector in Nigeria.

The Miners Association of Nigeria (MAN) has announced plans to host the 2025 Nigeria Mining Week in collaboration with their partners. This annual event is crucial for promoting the role of mineral resources in furthering Nigeria’s economic growth. The previous gathering attracted over 2,100 participants, showcased approximately 200 sponsors and exhibitors, and included 40 mining operators along with more than 20 exploration companies.

Dele Ayanleke, President of MAN, emphasized that the continuance of this event reflects a strong alliance among MAN, PwC Nigeria, and the Vuka Group of South Africa, with support from the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development. He stated that the conference serves as an influential platform for policy reform initiatives within the mining sector, facilitating vital connections between investors and Nigeria’s mineral resources.

Scheduled for 13–15 October 2025 at the Abuja Continental Hotel, the event is anticipated to be a significant gathering. Samukelo Madlabane, VUKA Group Event Director for Mining, expressed excitement about confirming the event’s dates early to allow stakeholders ample preparation time.
