Zaria to Welcome Seven New Federal Institutions by 2025

Dr. Abbas Tajudeen announced the addition of seven federal institutions to Zaria in 2025, aiming to enhance its educational framework. Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, Speaker of the House of Representatives, announced that Zaria Federal Constituency is set to receive seven new federal institutions in the 2025 budget, enhancing its status as a higher education hub. The planned institutions include the Federal College of Agriculture, the Federal Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Institute, and the Federal Technical College. In addition, there will be a Centre for Management Development, a Technology Incubation Centre, a School for the Disabled covering both primary and secondary levels, alongside four newly established federal secondary schools.

The Speaker also confirmed that in the 2025 fiscal year, further projects aimed at benefiting the populace will be undertaken. He highlighted the scheduled release of scholarship funds for 2,500 underprivileged students in tertiary institutions and mentioned that an additional 4,000 students would also benefit from the program.

Expressing gratitude for the support from constituents, Tajudeen emphasized that such solidarity has underpinned his success in the National Assembly. He called for prayers for President Bola Tinubu, stating that such support would help in addressing inflation and fostering GDP growth.

Tajudeen noted that under President Tinubu’s administration, there has been a marked decrease in insecurity due to its comprehensive strategies.
