Ambassador Adarsh Swaika recently met with Noura Sulaiman Al-Fassam, Kuwait’s Finance Minister, to discuss enhancing bilateral investment cooperation between India and Kuwait. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities across various sectors to strengthen these ties actively.

In December of the previous year, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Kuwait at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. During his visit, PM Modi engaged in discussions aimed at deepening India-Kuwait relations. This included interactions with Kuwaiti influencers promoting Yoga in the region.

The Prime Minister addressed cooperation in essential areas such as pharmaceuticals, information technology, FinTech, and security. Both leaders agreed to advance their bilateral relationship to a ‘Strategic Partnership.’ This partnership reflects a commitment to enhancing collaboration and maintaining the historically friendly ties between the two nations.
