India Reaffirms Support for Mauritius on Chagos Islands Sovereignty Issue

India has expressed its support for Mauritius in its negotiations with the UK over the Chagos Islands ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri indicated a potential preliminary agreement between Mauritius and the UK, following a historic decision last October.
