On March 6, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a welcome ceremony for his Kyrgyz counterpart, facilitating a strengthening of bilateral relations. Additionally, government procedures have been streamlined, allowing communal police to handle up to 35 administrative tasks, including immigration management, to enhance public service efficiency.

PM Chinh lauded AstraZeneca for its support during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly for delivering 30 million vaccine doses ahead of schedule. Moreover, the Minister of Public Security congratulated Samsung Vietnam’s new General Director, reaffirming the investment partnership between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea as a success.

The commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Tay Nguyen Victory was marked with discussions emphasizing ongoing economic development.As of March 5, Vietnam has reported a significant increase in foreign direct investment (FDI) and further collaborative measures with Laos in military and peacekeeping efforts were announced.

Prime Minister Chinh also underscored the importance of preparations for restructuring administrative units to revitalize growth drivers and streamline public investment utilization. On the economic front, positive developments in the socio-economic sector were noted, including a rise in the consumer price index and state budget revenue.

Vietnam continued its involvement in international matters, co-sponsoring a UN resolution commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, reflecting its commitment to global peace and collaboration. The government maintains its proactive stance in fostering stronger ties with international partners, including discussing human trafficking and enhancing trade relations with the UK and Singapore.
