According to Youabed, the transit of low-pressure systems, previously obstructed by the high-pressure system, has resulted in thunderstorms and snow in certain areas since the previous week. He anticipates ongoing weather disturbances that will bring substantial rainfall, particularly in northern and central areas, with predictions indicating heavy precipitation on Thursday. Conditions are also expected to extend to the Tiznit region accompanied by thunderstorms and snowfall.

An initial improvement in weather is expected for Friday prior to the arrival of a more potent low-pressure system over the weekend. This forthcoming system is anticipated to deliver significant rainfall on Saturday and Sunday across most regions, accompanied by strong winds along the northern and central coastlines.

The central regions are currently receiving beneficial rainfall, with forecasts suggesting that intensification will occur on Saturday and Sunday, particularly in the Marrakech and Souss regions, and extending to other central areas. It is important to highlight that similar weather disturbances were absent in December and January due to the Azores High, which prevented rainfall from reaching Morocco while benefiting countries like Portugal and western Europe.
