Ruto Assures Western Kenya of Development Amid Political Turmoil

Mudavadi urged a spirit of tolerance among politicians, highlighting that chaotic behavior and misuse of youth in political disputes serve no constructive purpose. He admonished, “Stop misusing youths to cause chaos in funerals or public meetings. Chaos will not take you anywhere.”

In his address, President Ruto appealed for collaboration among local leaders to foster development in Western Kenya. He expressed his commitment to enhancing the region’s road network, agricultural productivity, and power supply, affirming that year 2025 will signify substantial progress following two years of groundwork. Ruto said, “We have agreed that we must speed up development,” thanking local leader Governor Barasa for their partnership in this transformation.
