He conveyed this message during his visit to Montevideo, where he attended the inauguration ceremony of Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi. During the inauguration activities, Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi engaged in discussions with Colombian President Gustavo Petro regarding the integration of Uruguay and Colombia in advanced technological initiatives. Uruguayan Foreign Minister Mario Lubetkin noted that the talks revolved around advancing South American integration, which remains a priority.

“We discussed South American unity and how to integrate Uruguay and Colombia with the highest technological advancements, including algorithms and artificial intelligence,” commented President Petro.
