Lebanese President Aoun Discusses Economic Recovery with Saudi Crown Prince

Reports indicate that Saudi Arabia is willing to provide financial assistance for reconstruction efforts, contingent upon oversight of the utilization of any aid.

In addition to government efforts, Hezbollah has initiated its reconstruction program aiming to aid residents in rebuilding destroyed properties in Beirut and southern Lebanon. Despite a ceasefire and the expectation of an Israeli withdrawal, Israeli forces remain present in various southern Lebanese territories, contravening UN Resolution 1701, which was intended to facilitate peace in the region.
