Uganda has confirmed its second Ebola death, involving a four-and-a-half-year-old child, as the country continues to manage an ongoing outbreak. The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that Uganda has experienced its second Ebola-related death, this time involving a four-and-a-half-year-old child. On February 18, the Ugandan Ministry of Health provided updates indicating that all eight identified Ebola patients receiving care had been discharged. Nonetheless, it was noted that at least 265 individuals who had come into contact with the patients were under strict quarantine throughout Kampala and two additional cities to prevent further spread of the virus.
