The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host a group of prominent artificial intelligence (AI) entrepreneurs from Argentina during a Tech Launch event on March 4. This event is designed to provide insights into the advancements and real-world applications of artificial intelligence.

Marla Johnson, UA Little Rock’s tech entrepreneur-in-residence, highlighted Argentina’s emergence as a leader in AI innovation. Companies like Celara and Possumus are leading the charge in AI-driven business transformation, enhancing operational efficiency and creating new revenue opportunities.

Scheduled in the Schueck, Lexicon, McCarty Auditorium of the Engineering and Information Technology Building, the event will feature expert presentations and panel discussions. Following the program, attendees can network at a reception held at the Windgate Center of Art + Design.

The program will commence at 1:30 p.m. with a keynote address titled “Beyond the Buzz: Where AI is Headed in 2025.” Zubair Talib, an AI expert affiliated with MIT and the executive director at Celara Labs, will present his insights on the future trajectory of AI.

Dr. Brian Berry, vice provost for research and dean of the Graduate School at UA Little Rock, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to engage with international experts.
