Application Call for Climate Mobility Fellowship 2025-2026

The Global Centre for Climate Mobility is launching the Climate Mobility Fellowship for 2025-2026, which aims to train young leaders in climate mobility. The Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) is inviting applications for the Climate Mobility Fellowship (CMF) for the period 2025-2026, targeting youth leaders passionate about climate mobility. This fellowship program aims to equip participants with essential skills, networks, and expertise necessary to foster significant advancements in climate mobility initiatives.

The fellowship is structured under the Climate Mobility Academy (CMA) and is open to applicants from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Over the course of one year, fellows will engage in both academic and practical training, participate in global climate mobility forums, and gain hands-on project experience.

Twelve fellows will be chosen, with four positions reserved for candidates from the Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Selected individuals will gain in-depth knowledge in climate mobility governance, policy-making, and research, while also playing an active role in global policy formulations.

The fellowship will run from June 2025 through May 2026 and will include both in-person and virtual components. Eligibility requires applicants to be between 18 and 30 years of age, possess proficiency in English, and reside in or hold nationality from the specified regions.
