Turkey Offers to Act as Security Guarantor in Ukraine Peace Negotiations

Turkey has indicated its openness to serve as a security guarantor in Ukraine’s peace talks with Russia, as highlighted by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The Turkish government supports U.S. President Trump’s recent peace initiative, focusing on direct negotiations. However, Lavrov’s statements suggest that Moscow is now amenable to considering Turkey as one of the security guarantors.
